drip drip

A clothes horse, a pyrex dish, some water, a camera, a flash, a red candle holdery little thingy, some cardboard and a wine bottle with a cork that drips is all one needs to have ages of entertainment. Well, ages... as in up to the point when you wear out the flash batteries.

After a while the flash stopped refreshing in time, probably a good thing, not only because of the quite cool gunmetal grey drops, but it is probably also healthier for the marriage this way ;)

Recharge your batteries! A blue one on my Flickr page.

Simply Beautiful

The legs and feet ache... not quite the athlete I used to think I was. It's a good ache however, the kind one gets from too many hours of dancing. It is cool to be back on the floor with one of the greatest dances: tango, the Argentine variety.

No photos of the tango, but rather, the closest I can get with a completely unrelated object, here's a water drop. Ok, maybe it isn't that close after all, but it's what occupied me this morning, and wet me this afternoon. It is summer and still raining in Paris, what's with that? These aren't the tropics! There is something childlike about velib'ing home in the rain, I kind of like it (warm rain that is), as for the drops, I quite like the effect. Like tango, something simple can be beautiful.

Another take on the water drop is on my flickr set. I need some practice on both the photos and tango, in the meantime, hopefully my feet will forgive me.
